This is one of my favorite layouts.  It's an actual proof of my Mom and Dad's wedding photo.  I made this layout February 8, 2012.  If you look really closely at the top of the photo, you can see the date, and the word Kodak.  I intentionally left the photo as-is, meaning I didn't add a mat or a frame.  I used LouCee's "Sapphire and Steel".

Here's that updated siggy I knew I'd make!  I used Scraps N Pieces "Angel Eyes".

In case you're wondering, a siggy is your signature that is used at the bottom of your posts in a lot of scrapbooking forums.

Well, I've not been very faithful in updating my blog.  So instead of going back to the beginning, and trying to bring all my layouts current, I'm going to post willy-nilly.  I'll be posting explanations and dates, so hopefully you can follow along.

This is my layout I completed for a blog challenge.  I used LouCee's kit "Ladybug Garden".

This year I have committed to learn PSE 10.  It's a HUGE learning curve for me, as I'm a SPOILED MM and MMS gal!  My first page I made took me 2 hours; I could have done this in 10 minutes with my other programs!  But I persevered, and finished week 2's assignment.  To practice my new-learned (ahem) skills, I stumbled upon a Forum post to design your new Siggy. Of course, I didn't know what that was, so I did some more digging.  I found out what they are and the requirements for creating one.  Here's my first one!  Y'all know this will get changed as soon as I learn more.

As promised, here's my first 'real' digi page.  Actually, I made it a hybrid; I printed it off without the photos and added the photos on pop-dots.  I also cut down the background paper, rounded the corners and mounted it on dark brown and then popped it into an album.  I thought I was a genius...LOL!

WELCOME 2012

It's a new year, and time for a change!

And change can be painful!

I've just started learning how to change the look of my blog, to make it 'more me'. If you've stumbled upon it, please forgive the chaotic mess, and check back in a couple of weeks and hopefully everything will look a little more put together!

I've also decided, to post my digi-scrapbooking pages here, starting with the first page I created. I won't be posting all of them, but there will be a LOT to begin with, so please bear with me.

Hang on, and try not to get too bored! It's gonna be a crazy ride!

April 2011 - Take Time

Last year, The Little Things was, for me, a photo-driven look into my life. This year, Take Time is, for me, a journalling-driven deeper look into me. I'm not known for an abundance of journalling on my scrapbook pages (click on the MemoryMixer link in Links to My World, and search ordazd in the User Gallery); I generally like the photos and the title to tell the story. So this year will be a challenge for me. Luckily, I have a week to think, write, regurgitate, and finalize my story before I'm prompted into the new topic for which to Take Time.

I'm honored that you stopped by! I'll be posting my pages, at the beginning of the month, so check back to see what I'm Taking Time for next!

As a reminder, you can click on the page to better see the photo or read the journalling. You can also leave a comment if you're so inclined.
