I fell in love with this painting while visiting the Louvre.  This in only a small part of the painting, but IMHO, the most stunning part.  The technique I used I saw somewhere, and again didn't know to give credit.  I love the simplicity of this layout.

Our trip to London, Paris and the Canal du Nivernais in 2009 really sparked my interest in scrapbooking.  I finally had photos that inspired me to create.

While making this page, I thought I was so very clever to use the two photographs with one being B&W, and using the text to shape feature in my software to make the text flow around my photos.  And then there were the flourishes!

My love affair with the flourish began here.  I didn't know to credit the designer of the kit(s) used, so for the next while there will be no credits.  Also, I used a little of this and a little of that to create what I thought was my current most beautiful work.  I look back now, and cringe at some of my beauties.

This one I did for a hairdresser friend.  She asked I bring back news of the latest hair styles.  I could only get photos of the windows of a couple of hair salons...bad photos as that.  But she was thrilled!

I created this layout February 28, 2012 for my Photoshop Techniques Class taught by Scraps N Pieces.  This is my youngest Granddaughter.  I used Scraps N Pieces "Heidi Ho".

This is one of my favorite layouts.  It's an actual proof of my Mom and Dad's wedding photo.  I made this layout February 8, 2012.  If you look really closely at the top of the photo, you can see the date, and the word Kodak.  I intentionally left the photo as-is, meaning I didn't add a mat or a frame.  I used LouCee's "Sapphire and Steel".

Here's that updated siggy I knew I'd make!  I used Scraps N Pieces "Angel Eyes".

In case you're wondering, a siggy is your signature that is used at the bottom of your posts in a lot of scrapbooking forums.

Well, I've not been very faithful in updating my blog.  So instead of going back to the beginning, and trying to bring all my layouts current, I'm going to post willy-nilly.  I'll be posting explanations and dates, so hopefully you can follow along.

This is my layout I completed for a blog challenge.  I used LouCee's kit "Ladybug Garden".
