April 2011 - Take Time

Last year, The Little Things was, for me, a photo-driven look into my life. This year, Take Time is, for me, a journalling-driven deeper look into me. I'm not known for an abundance of journalling on my scrapbook pages (click on the MemoryMixer link in Links to My World, and search ordazd in the User Gallery); I generally like the photos and the title to tell the story. So this year will be a challenge for me. Luckily, I have a week to think, write, regurgitate, and finalize my story before I'm prompted into the new topic for which to Take Time.

I'm honored that you stopped by! I'll be posting my pages, at the beginning of the month, so check back to see what I'm Taking Time for next!

As a reminder, you can click on the page to better see the photo or read the journalling. You can also leave a comment if you're so inclined.

Take Time - 2011

I am SO excited! MemoryMixer has announced this year’s little things project: Take Time, finding inspiration in the little things.

By the end of the year, anyone participating will have created nearly an eighty-page album highlighting the special things you took time to enjoy.

MemoryMixer has provided everyone with a free quickmix, quotes, backgrounds, and embellishments to be used with their scrapbooking software, which you can find by visiting www.memorymixer.com. Be sure to check out the blog at TheLittleThings for more information and inspiration.

I am eager to get started! I will post monthly, so check back and see my progress. And a reminder, click on any page to enlarge it to better see the photo or read the text. As always, you can leave a comment, if you’re so inclined.

See you in March!

December 2010 The Little Things

Memory Mixer has provided an opportunity for scrappers with their software program to participate in a photo a day project. Memory Mixer has provided free templates that each individual can customize, or there is a pre-designed kit available for a nominal fee.

I have opted to participate in this project, which is entitled "The Little Things".

At the end of every month, I will post my monthly pages for you to see and comment on, if you choose. Be sure to click on each page for a larger image, and to view the comments if you're interested.

I'm saddened to come to the end of the 2010 Little Things posts as they have been eye-opening glimpses into me. However, MemoryMixer has hinted at another interesting project for 2011. I know, for one, I'm excited to see what's in store for this new year.

With all that being said, here's December.....
